Dali Matrix® PS is a digital transport based Emergency Responder Radio Coverage System (ERRCS), commonly referred to as a digital DAS for public safety.
A next generation solution, Dali Matrix PS offers secure, high quality signal transport and optional IP backhaul, via a high availability system that performs exceptionally well in large scale deployments both indoors and out.
Dali Matrix PS has a flexible modular architecture – a headend unit, with or without an integrated bidirectional amplifier (BDA), a digital aggregation / distribution unit, and medium power remote radio units (RRUs). The system supports both current and future requirements via software configurable upgrades and pluggable, reconfigurable RF modules.

Dali Matrix PS in Action:
The Dali Matrix hdHost PS receives RF signals from base stations, converts them into digital packets and then routes them to/from the remote radio units. The airHost, an integrated BDA-headend unit, does the same with RF signals received from off-air donor antenna(s) that communicate with public safety macro radio towers. Of particular value in many deployments is the hdDDU which enables an extra level of flexibility in topology and redundancy architectures.
Dali Matrix PS solutions can be deployed independently or as a part of a unified public safety – cellular solution.
Dali Matrix PS Digital DAS system
Interfaces with Base Stations (BTS) or Bi-Directional Amplifiers (BDA) over analog RF. Converts signals between analogue RF and digital data packets and intelligently routes the digital signals through the hdDDU or directly to / from the remotes. Processes up to 4 public safety RF bands simultaneously.
Provides off-air interfacing to public safety donor base stations via dual or quad-band integrated BDA/headend unit. Filters and amplifies RF signals to a composite power of up to 2W per band.
Receives digital data streams from one or more host units and distributes the data to multiple remote units. Also works as an optical port expansion unit featuring 8 or 14 independent 10Gbps optical fiber interfaces.
Processes up to 4 RF bands simultaneously. Has pluggable RF band modules with RF output power of 2W and 5W per band respectively. Convection cooled for quiet operation and high Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF).
Centralizes, integrates, and streamlines the management and control of large single and multiple system deployments.
